Jusqu'ici tout va bien

“Mais l’important n’est pas la chute, c’est l’atterrissage.”

In my thesis work I explored my own coming-of-age, and recreated little time capsules of my teenage years.

The absence of a classic father figure defined the ideology of our company: instead of a traditional exemplar we looked for ideals in punk rockers and fictional rebels. This time of irresponsibility, searching and being lost didn’t lead anywhere. But this tenacious fellowship of ours aligned us in that vacuum; we existed in shared solitude, shut in at the edge of adulthood.
